I agree with Boston rob you shouldn't ask her all these questions and shit... The host was being an asshole.... I was happy that everyone was ok with her decision instead of forum her to stay just to win...
A few months later on the morning show after the finale Jenna said not only did she not regret leaving but did not regret going either. That means she did not feel bad about taking the spot of someone who had not won before only to quit a few days into it. If that does not epitomize a self-centered spoiled brat I don't know what does.
I didn't like the fact that Jeff even asked the others what they thought about her leaving. Who cares how they felt? It was for her dying mother and since we all know the outcome...it was the right decision.
@allybaba28 Well he had to make sure and get input. That's his job. It's not like he knew what was all going on. I think no matter the situation he has to ask and see if people are sure that they want to go and see how everyone else thinks about it. He didn't mean anything by it, he just had to be sure because that's a big decision and it changes the game dramatically.
The saddest moment ever in the show. It makes you realize that the characters on the screen are real people with real lives outside of what's presented to us. It's amazing how we can feel we know them so intimately when they don't even know we exist.. This clip alone would be enough to make me hope Ethan makes it through his battle okay. I hope they both stay strong.
Now THAT is an excuse to quit. She made the right decision and I have a lot of respect for her because quitting for an all-stars is not easy. But R.I.P to Jennas mom (:
I cried its sad that her mother was dying she made the right choice u shouldn't turn down family for money family is so much more then money it's a lot of money but it was her last chance to see her mother stop being mean about it I'm 11 and I lost my mom it's sad but life goes on I was with my mom all the time until she died that was a good choice
@iMidnightSkies Ya, I'm sure you would definitely prefer a million dollars minus taxes than a last goodbye to your dying mother. Now I know, this world is one big mess.
I remember when I was younger I cried during this part because of the music and then when they showed the mom died it was even worse. This was a very sad part in survivor histroy.
Even though they'd all turn into bitter assholes, it's good to see that not one of these people are telling her she's doing the wrong thing. They're just saying what they would have done, not trying to make her feel guilty, and supporting her decision either way. It's especially heartwarming to see Boston Rob at his kindest.
An ailing mother is the biggest reason to leave Survivor. I could never live my life knowing that she died while I was out playing a game. No matter how big the opportunity was or how big the prize is.
... she should come back..... as an all-star.... why won't they do another all-star.. it gets better ratings than the last two seasons... do another all-star... with people like Lex... her...... Ethan.... dunno...
I'm still so glad that Jenna got home to her mum before it was to late. I really want her to get the chance to play again. She never got her Allstar experience, but so many players got three gos? Sucks, Jenna <3
This is by far the saddest episode of survivor ever.....I remember one of the contestants made a comment like "'you blink and you're gone". So true....my best friend died from a brain tumor 3 months after high school graduation....it's been five years and sometimes I still feel like it was yesterday.......RIP Brittany <3 Thanks for sharing!
@amkopff Yeah, I feel you. My best friend died 14 years ago. I had a dream two nights before he passed, and I told him about it the next day, and he laughed it off. Oddly, his fiancee told me that everything I dreamed about came to pass between them to the letter, that night. I think his fiancee's jealous best friend murdered him, because she (the best friend couldn't have Jason). Sadly, I can't use a dream/vision as proof of that, and still think I failed him to this day.
i think jeff stating all the GAME related facts right in front of jenna felt like he was trying to make her feel guilty about leaving..he could hve addressed the REALITY of whts gonna happen to the mogo mogo tribe after jenna had left..except for rob, amber nd a few other i felt like many of them were more concerned about the game..the least they could hve done ws wished her mother luck nd kept all their realistic opinions to themselves, atleast until her departure..it looked really insensitive
wow, boston robs look here the same as he did in season 22

I'd rather have my mother and say goodbye to her as she takes her last breath than have all the money in the world.
