Ok so here the problem:

I got an iphone 4, running ios 4.2.1, on baseband 3.10.01.

I Tested Real apple n berry, Gevey ultra and Gevey PRO.

Jailbreak with Greenposion.

My tmobile sim card is cut and fits into both.

Furiousmod is not installed, well it was but then i uninstall it.

So when i use gevey ultra, my iphone 4 just says "no sim" found. So I cant do anything about that.

when I used the GEVEY PRO, also a legit apple n berry F 981 chip, the iphone 4 take a few sec and gets the 1 signal bar and accept menu popup. In other words, it works.

Now my problem is this. GEVEY PRO, is discontinued. So there is no way to buy for sure legit ones, cause only option is ebay. And I know the GEVEy ultra is for sure not working .

Now what do I do? I was planning to update to ios 5.0.1 preserving BB 3.10.01 and using Gevey ULTRA. But apparently it doesn't work on ios 4.2.1, so Im assuming it won't work on ios 5.0.1 (not mentioning the furious 5.x tweak).

Does updating the ios make Gevey Ultra work? Or do i just have to buy FAKE GEVEY PRO on ebay and hope it works?

And why didnt i just keep the GEVEY PRO, because it belongs to another guy who was also using it and needs it for his iphone 4, he was lucky enough to get one

@mikeman6505 NO! STOP WHATEVER YOU ARE DOING. Even if you are not interested in jailbreaking, you MUST be around the jailbreak community, as it may save your life, like now. You CAN update via iTunes, but you DON'T WANT TO and YOU SHOULDN'T. You have to download the latest version of Sn0wbreeze, and create a Baseband Preservation firmware (Google how). That's because if you update via iTunes, it will update your BB and you won't be able to unlock for an unknown amount of time.
