This film, though it was a "remake," really did justice to the original. It took its own path, and had its own atmosphere which was almost seemed magical, eerie, and sad. I loved it.

This is mildly beautiful~ I like the original theme {Epilogue and Lullaby} better though. This definitely does have a bit of a Danny Elfman feel to it, however.

This is a nice piece, considering the film it's from. The vocals reminded me of Jocelyn Pook's music, especially the work she did on the DV8 Physical Theatre production "Strange Fish". If you search "Jocelyn Pook Strange Fish" and click on the DV8 Physical Theatre: 3 Ballets" video and listen to the music, you'll hear what I mean. That's not meant as spam by the way :)
