Um... Why is the message bad? It clearly shows how the soldiers, doctors and others involved with the Korean war felt at the time. It wasn't exactly a tiptoe through the tulips. And the lyrics don't say "kill yourself", they just explain that people felt like killing themselves because they couldn't stand the gore and mayhem of the war anymore...

What if I say I did very very long time ago and I was in coma and for few hours clinically I was death?? tha tis why today I am helping others not to do it. I have had affter life expeerience. It is very serious. I have been helping others to seek help instead of doing it. great job, but the music and lyrics were written by Loudon Wainwright III. It was originally written for the movie, but for primetime the lyrics were too raw so it went instrumental. just so you know who to credit it too.
