Very nice, but are you playing Chopin, Liszt or Francis Lai?

The first two are in a different league to the last. Lai is a good songsmith, but this song - one of his best - in my humble opinion, cannot take the lavish arrangement you have built around it. The melody just doesn't have the depth of the great 19th century masters.

An interesting, though over-long exercise though and sincerely felt, I'm sure.

My grandmother had a music box that played this song. She died 3 years ago,i never found the music box ,it was the only thing i wanted when she passed.still the song was stuck there.
