J'avoue avoir eu un un gros cafard hier. Pommy me manquait beaucoup.

J'ai eu envie d'une chanson tendre avec des images qui s'y prêtent bien.

Il ne me reste qu'un seul châton (Femelle) à six doigts. Personne n'en a voulu,

alors on la garde. Elle s'appelle Lily et joue beaucoup avec sa soeur Lala, de la

1 ière portée. Comme une 2 ième mère. C'est trop cute.

One has to have some courage to sing any of Brel's songs. But this guy, besides courage, has a wonderful voice and a very interesting way of interpreting the song. Very sad, but very beautiful, too. As Sergio Endrigo used to say, the most beautiful songs are sad songs, because, to quote L. Aragon, this time, 'il n'y a pas d'amour heureux' ('amour', in a broad sense).

I translated 80% of this and there's a few more words at the end I need to look up. It's quite a song. It reminds me of a free-flowing song that Celine sings--not the message, but the construction of the song. I think it's called "A Vivre"
