This is similar to my mom's favorite PC game - Ricochet Infinity - though Ricochet is top-down more like Arkanoid. My mom is a hardcore gamer, at least with RI - she's beaten all the levels over 15 different times - all bricks broken, all gold rings collected.

There are many clones of this 3D arkanoid concept. Robo ball is of lesser quality though. Strike Ball 3 is MUCH MUCH better because actual physics were use. In other words, as you hit blocks, things not only collapse but can topple over as well.
