I am interested in the blitzbox air duo for the live streaming but I wanna know if I can also use as a PVR if I switch between my 360 & directv receiver like the hauppauge HD PVR. I wanna be able to do both which has me willing to pop $200 for the Hauppauge no live streaming with it tho. If blitzbox can do that plus live streaming for $150 its a done deal

From what I see the blitzbox is sort of pricey I have not used it so I don't know if it is worth it but I do know the dazzle works just fine for me it is also at a good price search up dazzle on google the first link is the link of the company that makes it. Again I am just saying the dazzle seems to work just like the blitzbox HD except I dont think you can stream live with the dazzle.

@InfinitysNinja Yes, it would. I play on a 32 inch 1080p and the quality on my TV was the same as it was before.

Here's what I'm gonna say. If you plan on simply recording, and you want to get the highest quality on both the recording and your TV, you can drop like $230 on the HAVA.

If you just want to record in pretty nice quality and possibly even throw in some streaming, then get the B1HD

This is not an HD recording. It is a SD recording.

Using the BlitzBox HD, I was able to record my gaming while playing in HD and recording in SD.

The quality gets better, however. Watch the other video, WITH edits.

I almost bought this but i found out that blitzcast is hella misleading and that this only let you play in hd but broadcasts in sd, i needed one that did both in hd so i went with the Hauppauge 1212 HD-PVR, cost like $230 cause newegg actually ships it to APO. but from what I've seen so far its worth it.

it's not misleading at all. On their websites and description of it all state you can record in SD while playing on your HD tv in HD.

And the PVR might record in HD, but you cannot stream with it. But if you didn't plan on streaming at all with it, then the PVR is a fine choice.

The BBHD is the ONLY capcard that lets you stream live on justintv (and others) while playing in HD (out of the box!)

I tried 'workarounds' with other cards and it KILLED my bandwidth (so I cant play online reliably) and hogged up my pc's resources.

Black magic intensity pro. It costs around $200, but that bad part is that you'll be needing one hell of a strong computer. Like one with a Quad-Processor with 2.8 Ghz or higher. Streaming live is another thing, but you possibly could do it.

If you want to stream, the Hauppage can't. Why? Because the internet doesn't allow High Def streaming. Until it does, you can't stream with the Hauppage.

Also, it depends really. If you tweak the settings around, you can get good quality for both recording & streaming... all while playing on your HD tv, which, if im not mistaken, you can't with a dazzle.

It looks good, however it could look better. I tweaked my BBHD a little. I followed the guide also, but I took it into Ulead Video Editor and made some adjustments. Increase the brightness, sharpness, saturation, and contrast a little. :) Nice video and skills !
