Our school did this play for MHSDG Festival Yesterday actually. Flawless, no errors, phenomenal acting, perfect lights, but we didn't advance because the judges didn't like the play. Go figure. Great play all around though.
i love this play it is the coming of age of every child that has endured something so excruciating, unbearably foisted upon them when they still had no sense to realize...its not your fault. No declaration and decisive views on transgressive behavior. I thank God for this script, because it allows those left alone, or abandoned at quite a young age to finally say: THIS SHIT WASN'T RIGHT. but fuck it ma, you may have had to pay the price, but i will never be a causualty to you.
You wouldn't happen to have the script would you? I would love to read one of his monolagues for a Forensics piece (Forensics as in speaking, not as in Science) but I can't find many of them and I really would love to read the whole script.
im in our schools theather group and we are doing this play, i love wallace he is like so amazing with a cruel sense of humor
