Good video of Port A... Since I have a vacation condo in Port A this type of video if very interesting to me and my wife. I also have some video family vacations in port A you might enjoy.
The great thing about this show is that it wasn't filmed in and around LA, like the rest. It was filmed in cities and towns all across American, (and not just on Route 66). So many people have memories of when Route 66came to town. Their combined reminicenses would make a great book. It gave the show a different look and feel than any other show, as well.
Wow! That had to be a thrill! I fell in love with that show when they re-ran it on Nick-at-Nite in the 80's ! (Kinda had a thing for Buzz.)I wish they would put on re-runs of it!

Hi,I remember those tv shows,
George Maharis went to Montevideo ,Uruguay to sing few songs,probably 1965?
I still love those shows,but never run on tv again,cause they never got over the sindication problems,not even today.
