I've had one miscarriage and it was the worst thing that's ever happened to me, I can't imagine how you went through it 3 times!! I really hope I have better luck next time...
I have been a follower for quite awhile, I came across your channel when I was suffering from depression because I had 2 m/c's in 2005. You are a strong person, and are truly blessed. I wish my doctors would have done more to find out why I miscarried vs just writing it off as natures doing. When the dnc results came back saying there was no cause in both miscarriages. You are a great inspiration Sasha.
They test the progesterone levels sometime (can't remember how long) after you ovulate and before you have your period. If the number is greater than 11 you have good levels, lower than that could be sign of a problem. You should have these test done when not trying to get pregnant. That way you have time to prepare for it when you are trying. Most of the time by around the time you would be finding out you are pregnant, is when the levels start to drop out if there is a problem.
I wish that was all I had to do...but like I said my progesterone is at a normal level up until week 6. The kind of defect I have is rare but progesterone does cause a lot of women problems.
doctors can be jerks, my doctor told me im still young i can have more babies.thats why i did my miscarriage project cause medical providers need to be aware!! im so glad you got your miracle finally sasha =)
thanks for sharing, i am so sorry you had such a crappy Dr.
i just feel like my Dr was to insensitive to my M/C that now that i am pregnant i can associate that office with goodness, so i have decided to change dr.'s in hope that it will help me feel better.
i am so glad you got a good DR and now no what everything is.
I do not believe that the doctor deciding to check your levels is luck, I believe in my heart and soul that it was God. He decided that you deserved to be a mother and knew you would be a wonderful one and helped the doctor figure out what was wrong with you. God is the reason you have your little miracle baby, your little angel sent from Heaven Above just for you and Aaron to love and care for. God see's the future and he knew you would love that little boy more than anything in this world!!!!!
Sasha! That must have been SO SO awful. That is a lot that happened to you. How sad and depressing that must have been for you guys. And frustrating! How wonderful to have found a dr that you found and thank goodness for your sweet baby boy! 5 stars! Thanks for sharing your story with us!
After my miscarriage, I was put on progesterone suppositories with my next pregnancy, and now I have my beautiful baby girl. Thanks for sharing and letting other women know that this is something they should look into. :)
Your story is so inspiring. I feel your pain! :(
