Man, I saw a fly flying onto and perching on the premier Hatoyama's forehead. I guess this is the representative of the devestation in the early days of postwar Japan. Or am I too carried away by the little creature?
He is the Education Minister who in 1936 passed the death penalty for anyone who utter the vaguest insult of the Emperor and reaffirmed this 10 years later (by then the people had gotten his message loud and clear).
I do like Ichiro Hatoyama especially because of the likely radicalism of his policies during his tenure and his silencing of (the Emperor's) critics, among other things.

反米アジア独立のサムライは白人の脅威だったんだろう。 鳩山は戦前から近衛らグループのがちがちの社会主義者なのに、レッドパージから逃れたのは親米だからだろう、なぜなら、ソ連の国交回復はアメリカのバックアップの上えだからだな。 こいつらなら領土回復は一生できないとなめられたからだろう。
