@pearlwhitesaturn The locker is very quiet when driving. At low speeds either backing up or driving forwards if you have the window down you can faintly hear the clicking noise of the locker. If I am pulling out of my apartment complex sometimes if I get on the gas it jumps a little. It's not a big deal to me and I have enjoyed having the locker.
When there is ANY torque the locker engages. When I am on pavement and give it gas it locks same holds true if I am on a trail. I pretty much cannot go anywhere in town without the tires squeeling thanks to the locker. I love it though because I can go more places wheelin.

@chevelle8389 The idea behind an automatic locker like the Lock Right is that it locks and unlocks as needed. It uses cams to sense the torque and locks up when one wheel looses traction.
Well I know your not doing that on a dana 35 lol

How is it for noise around corners? Is it fairly smooth, or jumpy around turns?

@mlstrawxj So your saying that when cornering it will lock up and one of the tire will spin on the pavement?
offroadingmachine007 1 year ago
@offroadingmachine007 No, the locker unlocks if it has no torque on it. It locks when torque is applied.

I just read the write up, very nice. You didnt have to remove the carrier to do this? Please let me know thank you!!
Rancidkidd 1 year ago
@Rancidkidd No, as shown in the article, the carrier stayed in place in the axle.
