I must say this is a pretty good and uplifting song. I'm a subscriber and have been for a while. But I'm curious to know, do you know what type of artist you want people to perceive you as? You started off really good with the song "Smile". And thats the direction I thought that you were going in. But it seems like now, you are making some bad song choices. Now, please don't take this the wrong way. I just think u should stick with the soulful ballads and the modern day jazz singer vibe.

I agree with you. I love her voice so I'll listen to anything she does. Unfortunately if she's trying to succeed in the business she'll need to figure out her sounds before someone figures it out for her - in the wrong direction. I really wish she'd do something more acid jazzy instead of just plain jazz just because I feel that she'd bump heads w/ artists like Lizz Wright and Cassandra Wilson. I'll buy her cd though, regardless. Good luck, Lois!
