Great game. I think EMP may a bit OP vs protoss. Hallucination may have saved him there, I think you were right Klazart. Get some psionic storms down on those tanks would have helped a lot too. But who am I to judge the great Bisu lol.

Bisu should have won that game when Hwasins forces were all at the top left and had to travel in a spiral to get back to the middle of the map. A recall into Hwasins production would have crippled him.

He didn't even need to recall :) he had a taskforce at the 2 o'clock base stationed there doing nothing for ages - I was waiting for him to walk up the ramp and start taking out factories/reinforcements.

I think the problem with Ht's is that Bisu wouldn't have had a lot of opportunity to use them. They are less mobile and just as energy dependant as arbiters.

I have to agree that HT would have probably swung it to Bisu quickly But i'm glad to see a Terran win over the "protoss dragon"?

Seriously though, part 3 was like so scary.seige tanks all up and down just sitting there.ugh.stressful, guess it was the right choice though, given that there weren't any HT

I have to say it seemed smart that instead of charging up the main, Terran went for the mining bases at the 9 position and such.much more effective I think, could be wrong though i'm no SC pro

Great job by Hwa. As a Terran player, I know how hard it is to close out a late-game Protoss army. They can endlessly poke at you and if you make one wrong decision, whether or not to respond to those pokes, that may be the game end for you.

People complain about Terran ball, but the fact is that that's the only way Terran armies can win, and that's the biggest weakness of the Terran army.

Lol that was going to be my comment. I feel that Bisu lost this because he didnt go HTs. Hwaisin had so many clumps of siege tanks that if he had stormed, I feel he would of had a greater chance at winning this game.

if his first push was doubtful, this push was certainly the correct 1. Bisu already had a low army and an invisible economy, so destroying his main wouldnt have done much good, instead of went for the economy, again, and stopped Bisu's attempts at rebuilding a sizable force. that way he kept his military advantage and eventually pushed it home despite Bisu's guerilla tactics.

Hwasin finally managed to get himself an expo or 2, even though mineral only. was enough for his already massive tank army, he added a few vultures and gogogo into Bisu's forces. in his first push he could have gonne for Bisu's main instead of the left expo, however I'm not sure if he would have been successful, especially since Bisu also had a few gateways on his left expo.

When Hwasin went into the middle and just seiged up Bisu pumped Goons? Against tanks? Make some High templars, or go for Carrier tech! Hwasin didnt have the money to get Goliaths to stop carriers.

I know bisu was low on gas, but considering the number of EMP'd archons we saw die instantly trying to get into melee range, I think high templar could have made a big difference in the game. Who plays a 40min long game against terran mech and NEVER casts a SINGLE storm?!

Bisu didn't have Storm uped for those asking why he didn't use HT. Now why he didn't up Storm is a different question and story =P

I really thought Bisu was going to win this game somehow though given the maps history. Really glad Hwasin took it though =)

Hwasin could of closed down that game like twenty minutes earlier. He should've protected his expansions and split up his huge tank placement in the middle of the map and use one section to take out bisu's left and right expansions. Or what I think more terrans should do, is use cloaked wraith as a counter to roaming arbiters.

I think Bisu would have been well served to make a few shuttles to either zealot bomb the clumps of tanks or to at least force them to unsiege, then hit with the rest of his army. Hwasin didn't really have the goliaths to stop shuttles. Also, with shuttles, Bisu could have gone for some storm drop harassment at Hwasin's mineral lines. For that matter, I am surprised Bisu didn't have any high templar. I think he could have broke Hwasin with some good shuttle play, storms, and a stasis or two.

i have to agree i wonder why he made archons while Hwaisin had that mass of siege tanks. there even was no need to drop the mineral lines because the tanks stood in a close formation and some storms would have given some serious dmg to the tanks.

oh my oh my.. my verry first prediction went for the upset that hwaisin would come out with the victory.. then i changed my mind. thinking one posibility would be that bisus arbier play would be better then hwaisins vessels. and that he could prob finish of hwaisin even before that... but quite the oposit happend hm... verry good game none the less...

BTW why couldnt the observers shown hwaisins base was it over placed with mass turrits or something? (never ssaw bisu going for the factorys)

bisu looks the same as he always does, to me. it's dumb how people always interpret the players' facial expressions however they want, even if the players look the exact same as they always do. Bisu's playstyle didn't look "tired" either, with those constant recalls/stasis. Hwasin just beat bisu in a straight up game, that's all there is to it
