Excellent copy!!! I have one on 16 mm color film, but it's badly damaged and spliced. Most of the begining 2 minutes you can not understand what Woody is saying. The early versions as this was tuned towards WWII generation. I have ones from the 60's or 70's that have a differant tone to the story. BUT WHO REALLY DID THE VOICE??? Was it Walter Lance's wife?? It was not Mel Blanc!!! He worked for Warner Brothers.

This cartoon had some pretty neat film-making techniques ahead of its time. For example, the quick jump cuts near the finale of the cartoon. It wasn't until around the 60s this kind of thing was done in films.

Also, it was actually a top opera singer who provided Woody's singing voice for the "Barber of Seville".
