  • I volunteered at Literacy Volunteers/America and unfortunately they wanted volunteers to teach ESL to rich immigrants - legal but made enough money to send their kids to private schools, drive Mercedes, BMWs etc and take extravagant vacations at will. Companies give granst as LVA reads off stats of peope in the area who can't read or have below par reading -rich immigrants who can afford to pay!!!!
