  • Impressive.

Just one question: how to you communicate from the Wiimote to the NXT? Is it directly or using a PC as a gateway?

I'd be very interested if you could share the communication code ...

  • Yes it's all in my website. The wiimote is a HID bluetooth device therefore cannot be connected to the NxtOsek directly. So the python script decode the HID protocol and sends via SPP data on the NXT.

  • I tried the code and it didn't work for me. I could see the python code on a PC doing the right things when I press the buttons on a wiimote, but the nxtway-gs didn't move. Any idea how could I troubleshoot? thanks.

  • What version of NxtOsek did you use on your nxtway?

You need to use my code which was modified to take input commands from the bluetooth.

  • nxtosek I used was v2.10. could you pls give me your e-mail, you can text it to me on 303-960-7814. thanks

  • Are they the motoerbike wheels from lego Technic?

  • Yes

  • @epokh64 do you know how did he solved that ?

    nice work !

  • excellent work! would you be able to stabilize it even further by placing the two wheels more to the outside, and lowering the NXT unit between them? (lower center of mass) .. it seems a bit wobbly when turning...

  • Yes indeed!

  • Do you have some details for me concerning how you did this? How's the robot stabilizing itself?

  • Just go on the NxtOsek website is full of details!
