@flynhy1 Tim Ludwigs pullshot is not the fastest but it´s one of the smartest. And he´s incredibly good at the split. Furthermore the pullshot is not a fast shot on this kind of table
I think what makes this video interesting to watch is the fact that there is a clear contrast on the technics that each player uses. This is a decent example of the differences between those two skills.
this is the gayest thing, taking a water break lol i watched a video of people with skills at this , and i come to a german pro comp of foosball OMG!!
here in Brazil as the players of this video are found in droves in bars....... and the rules are much stricter ..... the staff can not complete a lap ..... the movement of the mini players are at most 120 °...... video players are doing 360° ...But that is a cultural issue
I really believe that this is the future of foosball. A rollover all the way from the push or the pull side. It takes a heck of a lot of skill to consistently shoot that long rollover. I shoot the pull rollover or pull jet. It has everything good that a pull has with all the control and juking (false starting) of the rocking rollover. Strangely, I blocked Muller this year at the worlds quite well. There is an amazing amount of tricky options that he uses off that shot.
snake shot unstopable? its my favorite shot for opponent cause its much easier to block it then to block a real god front pin or a good pull shot. and right thats the worst table for pull. would look much different for example on tornado
Howard Burns snake looks better/trickier, but he does it from the other side. No offense to Tim but his pull shot looked pretty weak on that table for that match and his defense was worse. However a bad game happens to everyone who competes. Perhaps this comparison would be better on a Tornado.
A good snakeshot/jet is almost unstopable. Although I think the snakeshot gets boring after a while. I think especially bad foosball players use the snakeshot too much. It's like they don't know anything else. I personally love players who can demonstrate tic-tacs, pull- push shots, snakes and frontpins, one after the other. Variation shows true skills!
Good comment! I think the snakeshot or Jet, whatever you wan't to call it, is a shot for true loosers. When I play against a snakeshot player, I feel like playing Tekken 3 on the Playstation against someone who always wins by using the same irritating move!
If someone always wins, he's a looser??? I don't get it...
What about looking at it this way: The truly interesting part of the game is the 5-row. Here, skills and diversity are needed the most. Thus, intensive 5-row training is a must. Since overall training time is limited, why not use an effective 3-row shot that doesn't require such an awful lot of practice time? I think it's better to be boring than not to be scoring!
Hmmm, i do not think that a good Jet is almost unstopable. On Tornado this might be true, but the elite players on p4p table use almost allways the pin shot. As far as i know Müller is one of the best jetters in p4p and he is "only" master so there are still about 40 players ahead with the pin shot.
Johnny told me that Tim had been watching him throughout the tournament, when he was shooting only middle and straight. So Tim thought it would be a good idea to block those. As it turned out, it was not as good an idea as he had thought...
I agree, for being ranked, slow pull shot

it's spinning! Can someone explain me?
Dataplayer 2 years ago
In the snake shot you only do one spin.

ludwig needs to reverse his D. It pains me to watch people use that D.

Gread shooting by The Jet. But at the same time, not so much great defense by Tim. How about forcing him to shoot middle or straight.
Anyways, nice vid!
