  • You gotta love internet for these kinda videos.

I had a problem that Stihl 017 did not stop :P

Problem was that the metal plate (groud?) was underneath the plastic switch, not on top of it as seen in this video at 1:53 .

    Thank you!

  • @phunkyboee thanks for watching, tell ur friends about my videos

  • thank you so much for this video...we were able to take out the carb and clean it out and check all the lines and afterwards the chainsaw started just like the first day we bought it!....very helpful info!....thanks again!

  • @mrjumby30 thanks for watching and make sure to subscribe

  • Good tip with the part about wearing safety glasses when spraying out your carb. I tend to get carb cleaner sprayin everywhere from goin in one hole and out another. lol

  • A great example of why you should never store your small motors with fuel in them or always add fuel stabilizer to them if you absolutely must. I don't know how many lawn mowers and weed wackers I've picked up from the trash that worked perfectly after a simple cleaning of the fuel systems. People would save themselves a lot of troubles just by running them dry before a long storage. Another great vid Dony.

  • nice video man

  • donyboy..you are so right ..the fuel screen on the carb should always be removed and cleaned....sometimes they look clean but are clogged up and no fuel will flow or it flows very slowly and produces intermittent running

    excellent tip dony

  • we have the exact same highly technical method of gettin the pickup body out at my work... bent peice of wire lmao...

  • Great video donyboy ! Love the HD too.

  • @sscustoms100 part 2 today

  • i heard on them stihl 2 cycle mottors that the ignition modual has a life time warenty on em even if the waranty is up on the tool is this true

  • @schark30 yes but you have to have a receipt

  • @mikocoon I've used one at work. They are excellent tools, but extremely expensive for a home setup, most I see are around $1000. That's a LOT of cans of carb clean.

  • Really good and useful video Dony. Thanks

  • Very nice work, looking forward to part 2.
