The little boy is Amir Farrokh Hashemian. I don't think he has played in other movies, to the best of my knowledge.

I agree. I think the director (Majidi) chooses good cast for his movies. There's another movie he directed, "Color of Paradise," and the main boy character is good, too. I like that he does not use professional actors all the time, and "real" characters.

ahh i haven't watch that other movie... yeah ur right the director made this movie a real thing because of his style of making the movie... i thought that it was a new movie when i watched it few months ago, it was shown many years ago, and the young boy who plays in the movie is just the same age with me. i thought i was older than him and his little sister. hahah!
