You do not 'believe' in science, you use science to explain the world around you. Belief is a religious sentiment. The first person to tell you about the object will be the one who studies it using science to determine how it works. "That the heavens and the earth were joined together and we clove them asunder" <- The Big Bang is theorised to have been the giant explosion of an incredibly dense collection of matter. I fail to see how these two ideas are related. It just gets worse after that.
