I have to say, I was stumped on this move until I watched this tutorial. Very informative and in-depth. Much better than anything else I've found online. I've subscribed and look forward to learning more from your other videos!
.... Gee... This is kinda better than GlowStringing's tutorials... I've been learning from the wrong ppl.. xD I'll still learn from GS but I here-by subscribe to you dude!!
my hands keep getting mixed up i xan do it for 30 seconds then my hands start mixing up then i start screwing my knucles up! :( but you are awsome you'r the only one i go to to learn moves becuase you accually explain it unlike other videos go like as fast as they can and crap and the your liek :d!
your vids are very good quality... the only thing i'd like to have is probably recommendations for the length of the string.... like in cm or something....
but love that you have the prerequisites bit... the slow mo... giving me goals to achieve before picking the sticks up... its like i'm actually being trained... awesome...
@HenryyyyyyyyyyyPwns Yes. I usually wrap them around my hands 1 full time. but it all depends on how long your strings are. Just make the strings short enough that you don't really have to dodge the glowsticks at all. But if you like, you can do them with longer strings, just make sure you stretch out your arms as far as you can so you don't hit yourself =)
@jasvagas Some moves are just hard to learn for some people... make sure you learn the movements with each hand separately to where you can do it in your sleep... then try and put them together... if you posted a video of yourself doing it, so i can see where you're having trouble... that would help out a lot.
@AquaThane Finally figured a one of the problems. Seems that i needed to be swinging my left hand at a faster speed because it was colliding and tangling with the other string. Thanks for making videos with clear instructions. I learnt every single one of the moves that you uploaded. apart from the corkscrew which im still learning and the reverse weave. Should i start learning how to do transissions or should i learn the more advanced moves like bowtie and orbital?
@jasvagas Ooo i'm glad to hear you're starting to get it =) ... well you're welcome, thanks for watching them... Well, I would suggest learning some transitions... there's a ton of transitions into and out of each of those moves... try learning them, and i'll hopefully get a new video or two up by tomorrow.
@colosaggon They are called flowlights.... you can get them at FlowToys.com. I recommend getting the crystal case for them if you do get them, if you're going to string with them that is, cuz without the case on if you hit anything with your flowlight, they will definitely break, but they are very awesome and well worth the money
Good job buddy ;) great video.
but .. are you mr mckay ?

yo, nice. Do your strings have to me shorter to do this move
1010harleyquin 1 year ago
@1010harleyquin yes and no, as long as they are short enough so they don't hit you, it's the right length. i usually wrap them around my hands once.

are both sticks spinning in opposite directions"?
jasvagas 1 year ago
@jasvagas No... they are spinning in the same direction. If you do it where they spin opposite of each other, than it's a butterfly corkscrew =)
AquaThane 1 year ago
@jasvagas They are spinning in split time too, which means when one stick is at the top of the circle the other stick is at the bottom of that circle
AquaThane 1 year ago
@AquaThane Hmm, its like i just cant do the corkscrew even though i can do the windmill..any idea why?
