simulated sound is all garbage, only useful for gaming and even that's questionable, and sony hasn't made any notably good headphones in almost a decade. for 99$ headphones i suggest you get a pair of grado sr80i's for like 80$, best mobile headphones for that price and have 3.5 mm jacks if you're not an audiophile and don't want to bother with a premium jack converter or headphone amplifier.
