I was born in the 90s and am really jealous of my dad who is an 80s child. He got to see this and more. Just watching the vid makes me feel like back then then life was a bit more peaceful. Skating looked so new and fresh. I love an am proud for being a skater. But there is a vibe i get by watching old school skate vids and i love it. I am truly jealous of the people that had the blessings of being an 80s child.

I was a huge skater in the 80s and have skated with Tommy G and other pros. As bad ass as this was back then, I can't believe I use to do that same shit. Seeing what skaters are doing now, watching this is kind of hilarious, but if weren't for these guys...skating would of died a long time ago.

Ever since San Jose skatepark is it possible to realize, through all the hype, that skateboarding is the best sport of them all by far. Tony Hawk was big in the 80's. Ever heard of "The Search For Animal Chin"? In any case, Tony Hawk was primarily a vert skater, and to my knowledge, has never made any significant contribution to street skating. If you're a fan, you should know this.

Kids these days think he's someone new because of X-Box. Most of them never set foot on a board in their lives. Real skateboarding has been replaced by video games. Hahaha. That's why so many kids today are fat, out of shape, or just plain soft. We spent all of our free time outdoors skating, riding bikes, or playing sports....Thats all we had, and thats how I liked it!
