people did even believe pilate existed until the pilate stone was uncovered.....you usually would cover up a serious sin like slaughtering babies from the roman empire as that was a crime. what herod did was a cover up.....its just that simple......think of watergate.....covering up is part of criminal activity.......history records the star, the wise men from the east studied the stars, bible prophecy like the census by the romans, YOU ARE JUST SO WRONG AND IGNORANT ITS UNREAL....HEROD COVER UP

I was at the Sodom & Gomorrah site in 2005. I obtained some of the brimestone (sulphur) and ash. The brimestone is shaped like marbles and are found in a glassy red sphere covered with ash. When you walk on top of this stuff you hear glass crackling beneath you. This glass is formed by burning rocks (sand?) The brimestone is unlike the sort you find at museum. It is not crystal or solid rock, but powder. You can set it ablaze by lighting a match to it. It left burn marks all over.
