Hey, have you guys seen the Windows 7 equipped StudioBLADE keyboard workstation? Its perfect for running all your favorite Windows compatible software and plug-ins! Click the link below for videos!
there are many people on YouTube that can blow your mind with what they can do inside Reason... BUT...they can't teach worth a crap. Their screen's moving/zooming all around...their cursor is flying around to fast to follow... they mumble...they leave important steps out...etc. This guy bboyspaz can teach. Will be watching his other videos.
2) I've done this with 12 or so NN-XTs, each containing a bit of the overall sample. Can I put these into a combinator now and make them playable by pressing sequential keys on my keyboard or is that impossible? At the moment they are separate and, to be played at the right pitch, all have to be played on the same key (and they're not in a combinator yet).
if they're all playing the same note then no its not possible. b/c when you use a combinator it triggers that note for EVERY device inside of it at the time. BUT don't forget you can change the start not of the sample, so if you have it going up in steps you could do it that way and you wouldn't have to worry about it. I think I might try to do a tutorial on that actually. Good subject!!
1) I have a music sample that I've cut up into smaller sections, so that when I put it to my beat, I can have each smaller segment coming in exactly on the bar instead of just hoping the longer sample won't go out of time.
