The "You can't hit a defenseless reciever" rule is such bullshit. It's fucking football! What do you want the defender to do? Let the reciever catch the ball, see the defender, and have time to react? "It's not safe to get hit like that." Of course not! That's why it's football, dammit! Not saying I like to see guys get career ending injuries, but it is what it is, football is a CONTACT sport, quit trying to make it as safe as golf. RIP hits like this.
@ctotheb41092 Exactly. I want a return to time when guys like Jack Tatum and Night Train Lane were looking to put WRs through the turf. Some of these diva WRs today would shit their pants if they saw The Assassin bearing down on them.

@sciowapker This was in the late 80's...ya know..where they could ACTUALLY play some tough football. For a hit like in 2010/2011, Dumas woulda been thrown out the game, his scholarship woulda been revoked, his mom woulda been sent to jail, he would be exiled to a non-disclosed deserted island....and a flag woulda been thrown......lol
that's an alright hit....but the hits in hockey are way fucking harder. and don't say they're not unless you've actually played it. we wear far les padding in hockey and move way faster
@Arait64 True, honestly that is the way you break up a pass and catch by blasting them with your in and extend on contact to open them up and pop the ball out. Hit and wrap is meant for runners, but I still prefer the hit and wrap when players nail them right in the gut it just looks so pretty and it's a mean stop. But in today's league they wanna protect their million dollar investments so they would flag this. Bastards.
