Daar gaat niets boven een ruime bus. Ik zie het nut niet van al die moeizaam aangepaste stationcar ziekenauto's waarin je uiteindelijk toch je kont niet kunt keren.

@wesleygta12 in drenthe rijdt hij ook nog wel volgens mij de 03-104 is een E klasse... ik kan me in het nummer vergissen.. maar sowieso in assen rijden ze nog.. en ik gok op nog wel meer plekken.. verder vind ik dit concept een verbetering op de voorgaande E-klasse ambu's als het gaat om uitstraling.

guess these would be perfect for getting into disaster area's where height wuld be a problem. Strange looking, doesn't seem like it would hold very much equipment. I guess expense was a problem as to why this route was taken? Is it badly cramped w/a patient in there?I'm not speaking negatively 2wards it, just saying it appears more like a vehicle that wuld serv places 'n situation that does not require a fully loaded/staffed ambulance. It may hold far more than it appears. Does the back open up?

@HigherWaysWoman All ambulances in The Netherlands have the same, standardized equipment loadout. This is required by law. So this vehicle will carry all the equipment that a box or van ambulance carries.

I guess a vehicle of this sort is more cramped than a box or van Ambulance. Also, crew road vision is limited because of the low seating. However, it has several advantages because of its low weight: Increased acceleration + top speed and its less likely to roll over when cornering.

I was very awed that it culd carry "that much" equipment! bet evry inch was used. thoz who drive thez emergncy vehicles do they prefer them to the bigger ones? btw in Tulsa Okla ther is a new addition to squad cars. Its called "The Rumbler". If a driver is not responding 2 sirens 'n flashing lights they engage the rumbler. Ppl hit by them say they can feel a vibration in the seat & thru their vehicle. Its not severe but quite noticeable. enjoyed chat'g w/ya!

NOOOOOOO!!!!! NOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOO­OOO!!!! The E-class Mercedes is beautiful,why convert it into a hearse and paint it yellow!! I love Holland,its beautiful and so civilized, but this is the first thing i find messed up,Dutch Ambulances are crap, sorry but its true! I would rather die than be rescued by a dutch ambulance!

@HMSDaring1 don't exaggerate, most of the dutch ambulances are better then these  ugly small ones, I'm glad i don't have to drive one of these... I drive a Chevy GMT610 V8 on LPG. If you want to avoid the Visser, avoid Utrecht and Friesland(main area's where the E-series are used)

@jeroenvanoudenallen But not even the chevy is that good of an ambulance, the chevy is really top heavy, its a poor quality ambulance. The ambulance i really like is the Mercedes Benz ( New version), or even the VW ambulance, they are well designed,the weight is spread evenly, every thing is thought of, I understand that you drive the CHevy, but lets be honest, wouldn't you rather drive the Mercedes? Oh, i admire your job, Ive always liked seeing ambulances whizzing around England, its cool
