I can hardly believe this... You take your sweet time to create this great 3d parody while in the same instance completly killing it with the bright red beneath and over the video plane??? I mean, what the fuck?! The bloody red is ten times stronger then the video! It absorbs it, complety running it over!

You do not ever use a background colour that is stronger then the elements up front. You did want the people to see the smurfs first, not the upper and lower screen corner, right? Damn...

i don't disagree. when this vid was uploaded, youtube didn't support HD, so I had to use the bars in order to get the "widescreen" effect. In the original trailer for 300, the bars were also red, so that is why i chose the color.

if i could re-upload an HD version that doesn't have the bars on top and bottom while holding on to my hits, i would, but unfortunately, youtube won't let you do that.

@fatmoshe Just re-upload it man and keep this one up. Maybe have someone mix the VO a little better (or re-do the VO). This video is very close to being completely awesome. You'll hit 50,000 in a month on the new video. Right now, it's just pretty awesome. I wish I had your animation skills.
