  • i like it so much, you are amazing! :)

  • Well done.

  • Suroboyo, kalianak...

    Bangkeane dowo, tari'ane uenak...hehehe...

  • hi, i learned this choreo as well (: its a difficult one, but try to do the movements a little bit slower, but like rachel does slow but strong. I think you werent able to time your movements with the music pretty good? so maybe you can study that a little bit more? (: but furthermore, your movements itself are nice an flowing , sometimes a bit woody, (?). and i love your hair !!

  • Oh i forgot to mention, be sure to practice breathing and do LOTS of yoga, that can help with your strength and flexibility!! Rachel Brice is my Fav. too

  • Only learning from youtube? Wow, for that you were still great!! May i suggest buying Rachel Brice Serpentine, and also going on her website to find out about workshops that could be in you're area. I'm pretty sure she travels worldwide. But if not go to amazon and buy serpentine.. Oh and be prepared because my belly dancer teacher attended her workshops and could barely walk for a week. just a little note before you buy it... I LOOOOOOOOVE you're performance :):):)

  • Hi, I really liked your video, you're only learning from youtube? Well you look great. One thing that stood out to me are your hands. In a workshop with Mardi she discussed hands and Zoe's thoughts on being able to tell a dancer's experience through their hands. I can see you do the same thing as me, which is move them about quite a lot. If you watch more experienced dancers (ie - the Indigo) their hands are always smooth, flowing, and never too fast or flashy. Good luck!

  • @JanisSmithe oh, you are so lucky cause u have chance to learn belly dance with the Indigo, I really admire Rachel, Zoe and Mardi, they are so wonderful, LOVE THEM ...And about my hands, u are right, they were so bad, I must try many more :) Thank you so much for your words..kisssesss :D

  • @holan311985 Oh I didn't mean your hands were bad! Just that they give you away as a newer dancer, that's all! :) In all of my video I see the same thing and it's hard to change, especially during faster choreo. You could try putting coins in between your fingers while practicing to draw your attention to your hands. I do that sometimes, seems to help. Taking workshops with Rachel and Mardi has definitely been a great learning experience! You posted this so long ago, I bet you're great now!

  • Hello,Holan Isee that I havent commented this one before. It appears that you can handle anything within bellydancing.Great show.

  • @dhj236 just love it..thank you very much :)

  • U R awesome, and that's my opinion on that. Keep going to master the movements and enjoy being fulfilled by the positive feedback and reaction of your audience. Rock on with ur bad self:)

  • Rat tai nang!!!!!!!!!!!!! Nhung chi thich em phai lanh lung va ngau hon nua. He he

  • she has to have very strong legs and stomach to lean back like that dang with I could do that

  • this was pretty good! ur belly roll is poor, tho. Try to refine it more and it'll look a MILLION times better! Try to do it using only your stomach muscles, not your pelvis.

  • @iamspecial14 : you are absolutely right about my belly roll :)

    must to try it ...

  • i loooooove the tattooes by the way! wait was it henna? or tattoes?haha either way theyre beautiful!

  • oh girl believe me, it was fine! all you need is to refine your dynamics and your dance will be perfect! you already have nice isolations so, in time youll be awesome!

  • @MizeryLovesCompany77 Thank you so much...just love belly dancing :)

And it was painting, by acrylic colors :p I love tattoes too :)

  • @holan311985 ooooo acrylic? from the craft store? i gotta check that out!

  • did u learn this from one of rachels dvd's? if so can u please tell me which one? i would like to learn it as well =) i think u did very well i can see her in your dancing

  • whoa, take it easy there..... dynamics girlfriend, great isolations but dynamics are missing!

  • @MizeryLovesCompany77 : thank you for your opinion...I really missed some beats :p

  • You have great foundation, but I think for the song, your performance could have been a lot softer. The song seemed over-danced. Make your moves smaller and watch those flying hands! Lol. I saw a video of one of my performances from awhile back and my hands were actually quite rigid and I about died! But it was something to work on and now they are much softer. Good work and can't wait to see more!!! Where do you live? One of my dance friends moved to Japan, she's a tribal fusion instructor :)

  • @BellyJae : hi...nice to meet you here, I from Viet Nam. And you are right about my hands moving, after see again this vid, I think my arms are not tribal style arms at all... as you say, there are so many things to do with my arms :) ...hope it will be more better...thank you for your kind words to improve my skill. You know, wonderful things I can take from You tube are the opinions of so many people to improve belly dance skill, and you are one of these kind :) Just love !

  • You have some very strong points in this dance.

  • Great dance! You are very good, so expressive!!

  • what' sthe name of this song please? It's beautiful!

  • @DeaSelma : sorry but this is in a performance of Rachel...I dont know its name... :)

  • amazing as usual! the only and i mean only thing i noticed is your arms, for tribal fusion, the arms are normally very slow, serpentine. It is like caberet arms but in slow motion. but you were so amazing! you pulled out all the moves in this one! beautiful!

  • @3578nina : it's right...when i reviewed my vid I saw that my hands were not graceful.... :) thanks for your lovely comment sweet heart :)

  • Hi Hola!

Danced wonderfully! Serpentine movements are unconscious!

A lot of work, I suppose .... congratulations! Big hugs, many kisses. Mara

  • @53Mara :thanks Mara so much...I am happy nwith your comment :)

  • To improve your skill: practice, practice, practice, never stop. Learn from others - but don't be a carbon copy. Find your own flow and groove even as you try the choreographies and styles of others. Find your own soul in the music and the moves. O yes, NEVER STOP! >^.^< If you ever come to California, let me know! I would love to dance with you.

  • @femmasapiens : I couldn't agree more. It is a great idea...but you know, in my city there is no where teaching a real belly dance choreography for performance, just a few basic moving of belly dance, something for burning fat not for dancing...So learning to make a real belly dancing is very difficult for me...Must try and try...and learn from others at you tube :)

  • I must agree with Mike!! FANTASTIC!!! Now, learn Rachel's bellyrolling, incorporate that into this choreo...and you have it nailed!!!!! That will be the complete package!!

    But VERY well done:)

  • @TommyTabla2 : You are right !! I will try it :) Her belly roll is wonderful !

Thank you for your opinion Tommy !!

  • WOW! Ho Lan- fantastic! this style is your true calling!!

  • @WarrenParkwoodLinden : Thank you my dear friend !

  • opppp...at final I can up load all clip..hard work with computer...I am not good at it :p

Have a good night !! Bed time in my country :)

    I love belly dancing !!!!!!!!!!
