  • wow thats crazy, looks so real, nice job man

  • help me out now . this iwata hi line airbrush is capable of those fine lines and shading because of the mac valve right .. and probably a small needle size ...can u give some specs and most of all the price for the airbrush i was expecting about $200 approximately so how much with a kit including a compressor

  • Good work man, I had a question. after the white background you use a gray mixture right? I know that with doing portraits and such it is a ton easier to darken than it is to lighten! Also I think your airbrush is an Iwata but is it a micron? thanks

  • whats the airbursh name your using man and if that´s your fav or do you have others... that for replying back

  • @azteknowledge Looks like a IWATA with "MAC" control (the secondary air adjusting screw visible under the color cup), go google the Iwata catalogue (and be prepared for a chock on pricing)...

  • Air brush looks like Iwata custom(maybe one of the microns) paint is HOK which is uratine based and made for Gods. This airbrush runs from .018 to .023 nozzle makes fine line. But practice is what's making it perfect. For fine line reduce paint till sprays right and presure must be low. This airbrush have its own valve to control psi.

  • jood job! :)

  • Diggin the fatboy slim

  • Lol at the music, great job by the way

  • I believe we have found god on earth...

  • well done

  • Some of, if not the coldest AirBrushing I've seen yet. What type of Air Brush is that?

  • YOU ARE RULEZ !

  • YOUR A MASTER OF YOUR CRAFT BRO.

  • Buy Mr Powers DVD Set and he will show you trick and tips on there ;-)

...... as for creating fine lines:

Great quality paint with fine pigments (HOK, etc), Very very slow reducer to eliminate dry tip asmuch as possible, and an iwata with precision air valve so you can drop that psi right down and get in there without blow outs!!!!

Also nice small tipped airbrush is essential and correct thinning of paint... (experiment with weak mixtures)

Hope this helps ;-) Have fun ;-)

  • dude AWESOME video. can any airbrush make such fine lines, i mean is there a trick to it. cos my air dont go below 25 psi, and its like MASSIVE paint coming out. or is there a specific brush u used, if so which is it, i might try and get it on ebay.

  • may i ask how u made at the really beginning of your video the contour of the girls head? did u use a stencil? unfortunately the video starts after doin the contour of the head..

by the way, very impressive and good done work!

  • What do you mean by contour? Do you mean the outside shape? Or do you mean how did I get the landmarks/features on before I start airbrushing?

  • i´m sorry if my english is not the best one.

i meant the shape of the face and the landmarks. the proportions of the eyes, nose and everything are excellent but we cannot see how u made them in the video.

anyway really nice job! i have to try airbrushing too..

  • i mean at the really beginnig of your vid..

  • bestiaaaaaaal

  • awsome work! i cant wait to start air brushing again. its hard because i cant concetrate wit the loud air compressor

  • i would suggest to put the loud air compressor in another room and put a longer pipe between comp and your pistol..

    peace!

  • thankks :)

  • Fore some reason I cant get such fine lines as you =/

  • Its just practice, you'll get there.

  • hey is tat an hpch iwata

  • Dude, awesome work man.

  • Thank you.

  • amazing!

  • Hey man, first of all STUNNING JOB! 2nd, im ready to upgrade to a better airbrush, can u give me any suggestions, ide like 1 that gives me both the fine lines but also some nice even thicker ones. And also, why don't more airbrush artists use the bottom syphon brushes?

  • I guess the Rich-AB300 or the Iwate HP-C Highline (used in video) would do the job for you ;D

  • bottom syphon brushes use way more color for small areas, because the whole system needs color before it gets to the nozzle.... think of the color in the straw... and all that room that needs to be filled with color that you get an continuos flow ;) .... if the color is fed from the top... every single drop is used ;D ..because its directly on the needle :) ...which means less loss of color... makes sense? ^^

  • oh yea, thanx alot for your advice! great work too!

  • One of the most versatile brushes you can get is the Iwata Eclipse HP-CS It can deliver pretty much anything from hairline to 2 inches It may sound Biased, but it is my workhorse xD

  • i seen this car at the lowrider nationals in bakersfield CA, take it from me it looks that good in person

  • WHAT PSI DO U USE...

  • Stuff like this is generally right around 40 PSI

  • part 2 of this video is not avaylable on my country, Portugal :( can u do something about it Dan? tnkx in advance

  • are you still selling your airbrushing dvd ? i tried emailing you from yoyr web site but you did not reply

  • dude i think its better to send this to his channel then commenting cuz not all people check all the comments in thier vid

  • You do excellent work and you have a solid steady hand - I have a question - I have a Paasche VL and I shoot at 40psi with createx water based paint which I thin about 30-40% with water. It cloggs constantly with dried paint on the tip. What am I doing wrong? I trust your opinion. Thanks.

  • You probably already solved your problem by now, but I would add a couple drops of Createx retarder to your paint it will slow drying time down a little and help prevent constant clogging.

  • hey thanx alot for the imput, ile definately look into it! :)

  • I haven't had the time to mess around with it but thanks for getting back to me I will try that - Thanks

  • Would you say a good airbrush is more important to get really smooth and fine detail or is it better quality paint? Because when i try to get this sort of soft shading my airbush splutters. I'm using premixed paint from a autoshop, could this be the reason?

  • i have an hp ch it's great and i use ppg paints ...i work for a great company called performance paint based in saint Lucia...

my name is v.williams at the shop

  • Why did You geographically restricted the other part of the video?

  • I didn't! I just checked it and it says its available worldwide. Please try again and let me know if you have any problems.

  • I tried, still doesn't work. Maybe the youtube doesn't want me to see it... Nevermind, i've seen it earlier, just tried to view again.

  • Try again now. I'm not sure why it was doing that! Odd.

  • Still doesn't work, and also a few other videos like "Airbrushed XBOX 360 and PC case mod" :)

  • You have a real gift. Very impressive work. The subtle shading is what makes it really stand out. So lovely.

  • Thank you.

  • How did you get the picture to look faint like that before you started airbrushing it. I use a image project but it doesn't look like that when i'm done tracing it

  • Thats already got the first layer on it which is a very light grey.

  • Don't forget, guys...it's the artist, not the gear that produces this great work. The best airbrush in the wrong hands is just another dull crayon.

  • You inspired me to go out and purchase the Iwata Hi-Line HP-CH, I will be using the m with waterproof inks, are they are hard to keep clean?

  • en definitiva arte

  • what airbrush do u use?

  • Its an Iwata HP-C Hi-Line with Mac Valve

  • Amazing! wish i could do like that some day :p

  • wow, seeing painting come to life like this is just beautiful, very beautiful thanks for sharing

  • Nice work, whats the name of the song being played while you airbrush? I like it

  • It's called "That Old Pair of Jeans" and its by Fatboy Slim

  • i think it's funny how everyone figures out what kind of paint, psi, and gun you use. So they can crank out their murals. Hey after u guys buy all that shit and realize u can't paint like this cat, sell me your used gear.

  • i can only wonder who do u look up to as an artist? And is money your inspiration to create?

  • hey,my men this is amazing, great detail.but what paints are you use?i have use many paints but all ovethem stuk my brush

  • maybe you didn't dilute them to a mily consistancy???

  • I love watching art come to life, you have a gift my son, paint me green with envy.......

  • wow only freehand ¡¡¡¡¡¡¡

  • this is some fine art, i love it, its a true masterpiece, it means allot, hey man im really lookin forward to airbrush got any tips or advice to give out? thatl be cool man, thanks, keep up the good work

  • Best work my eyes ever seen. Thank You.

  • wow.. amazing..

  • is the brush a hp-ch

  • It is. Its an Iwata HP-C Hi-Line with Mac Valve to elaborate. Very tidy little airbrush.

  • yea im thinking on buying one what psi were you using on the mural

  • amazing work!! What colours do you use?

  • In this I used two shades of grey and black. But make sure you add a few drops of red to your black to cancel out the green if you want true greyscale.

  • Do u sugest that with all black paints such as createx, or just auto paints?

  • hey how the hell do i get a job as a airbrush artist, do i just post my art on the internet sign saying that i will airbrush wahtever you want for a price, or do i just go to a custom shop or place where they airbrush stuff and ask if they can give me a job?

  • very very coooool!!!!!!!

    great job..i'm impressed...

i've seen this video on "airbrushtour" by a.d. cook..
