I really hope it gets better for the PS3, because I'd really hate to buy one and then the damn console falls off the map. There wasn't anything in that vid that makes me want a PS3 except maybe Killzone 2 and Homes(if it ever comes out)

Sigh - all these pre-animated craps. Why are you showing the confirmed pre-rendered Killzone 2 Trailer? That is a great achievement by Sony, they simply can't hold themselved back from raping their costumers and/or fans - great. And only screenshots from Resistence 2? That's hilarous, I pity those actually believing that being the actual products, man you're up to get disapointed.

don't you know that even though the killzone 2 trailer may have been pre-rendered, it was actually a prequel to what the game's in-game graphics engine would look like? i've already seen k2 in hd, it looks even better than the trailer. and resistance 2 is going to be amazing just like the first one. just because there are only screenshots it doesn't mean anything. i remember only seeing screenshots of halo before it's release and i don't think people complained about that.

The Killzone 2 E3 Trailer was CONFIRMED Pre-Rendered and in my theory even by the same team who did the Haze (Pre-Rendered) trailers since the environment and style is identical. I've seen Killzone 2 in action as well, and frankly it didn't look ANYWHERE close to the Trailer, but still solid, but that doesn't mean that "real gameplay" isn't altered either. Sony has got a great reputation of false marketing with their products.

trust me, i've seen the game in full swing and it does look like the trailer's gameplay. the physicas aren't exactly the same as the trailer, but it does look amazing. and i'm not being a ps3 fanboy, but about the pre-rendered thing, i've heard from other sources that the comment wasn't being directed towards killzone 2 and was actually taken out of context with resistance. and its true that sony has done false marketing before, but they usually back up what they do when their products release.

I've seen it too, but the game itself doesn't have all that sharp textures (textile details seems a bit off) and in-game filters differ from the Intro. Therefor I wouldn't believe a thing of it, they did the same with MotorSports (or whatever it was called), Resistence and... Haze.

i hope you weren't watching youtube videos of killzone 2. because if you were, then you should know that youtube's quality downgrades everything. but i'm pretty sure you know about that. either way, i thought the game looked amazing. a million times more graphically powerful than halo or other console FPS's. nothing compared to crysis, of course, but still looks great.

I've seen it in full resolution and Killzone 2 is NOT a technical wonder. It has a different visual focus than Halo but I wouldn't say Killzone is technicly superior but certain parts, while Halo prooves to focus more on polished visuals than technicly impressive such. If I were you I'd be realistic and not work up all too much on Killzone until it's realised, we all know the great record of Sonys iniatives on pre-rendered or pre-animated "real-time gameplay".

i admit halo 3 looks great, but i think this game is a technical wonder and graphically superior compared to it. and i'll reiterate it again, if you're watching killzone 2 at 1080i on youtube's degradable quality, then you're not seeing the optimal performance of this game. whatever the case is, i think this game looks better halo, rainbow six: vegas, and close to bioschock.

I haven't seen Killzone 2 on YouTube - I've seen it in it's true resolution - and just call it 1080, since the "i" and "p" prefix only stands for the frequency. And remember what you see today isn't necessarily actual game-play but either altered or scripted, that's a popular tendency developers tend to use nowadays with good support from Sonys side only to trick the mass. We've seen this too many times to get fooled again.

dude, i've played this alright, it is actual beta gameplay. nothing is pre-rendered, scripted, edited, none of that. what you see is actual gameplay. hell, look up other people's channels who has played the game and ask them if it's good, or false advertisement hog wash. i guarantee you everyone will tell you it's the real deal and it's not even completed yet. i know there is always a false advertising campaign that most producers use, but sony is really backing their game up with good stuff.

already out for $55. all the new games will have them, most old ones have patches to make them work. its also smart rumble, so if get hit on your left side, only the left will shake. it ships with the consoles in early to mid june.
