so does this actually make decent hp gains? cause id LOVE to turbo my 97 LT1 Trans Am,but i aint about to choke out $2000-3000 plus installing for 50-100 hp,and $800-1000 is fairly do-able rather than spend thousands in bolt ons and only get >50 hp.only problem is my bumper might not fit an intercooler,because theres no opening.thanks for any help!nice car btw,fuck the haters.

@rockerdude29 it does actually gained hp. but im not sure how much cuz i haven't dyno the car yet. and im waiting to get a flash drive "reflash" from store, before i dyno it. kinda pricey though for r18a1 cost 799.00 .

about your trans, if you know how to install your own parts "do it your self" you would able to save lots of money. labor just too much. oh yea your bumper problem if you know its not gonna fit, just get an after market bumper it would add more aggressive looks than the stock.

R18A1 is the D16 series successor.. i personally would swap thi in a older civic because soon it gonna have a cult of people and aftermarket support plus i know its way cheaper than a k20.

the kit is a jdm kit. you can find it on ebay from the dealer "Miragepower2008". i got mine installed on my cobalt, cept i didnt pay a cent to install it, i just did it myselff. ehh its a great kit for someone whos just gonna run 5-10 psi maybe even 13 (if pcm and internals are upgraded) but again on the site it says "universal kit"...aside from some piping i had to buy myself though, it was pretty straightforward. great kit, though i dont recommend flooring the car until atleast 300 miels

if you get an ebay (knock off), if you get the real deal its about 599$ mhi big 16g and an fmic about 399$ + some fuel mods injectors,fuel pumps,fuel pressure ect.. lets say about 300$ and you got your self running at about 21psi ..really 300 bucks on a talon and you would be running at mid 11s, this is kind of a waste of time anyways thats a nice and rare setup for a 4dr si...
