Sin dudas Petrucci es un guitarrista de puta madre, pero de ahi a decir que es uno de los mejores solos de la historia (como aseguraron algunos)... creo que hay demasiado fanatismo. Creo que no se puede hacer un mejor solo en este tema, porque todo el tema en si es un gran solo.

Lo de John estuvo perfecto y mantiene su estilo personal (incluso creo que hace mucho no escuchaba que improvisara con tan buen gusto sin marearse con tecnicismos) pero no exageremos y sean objetivos.

Por otro lado, yo vi esta participacion como un tributo de parte de John a Joe, no se olviden que este tema forma parte del disco instrumental mas vendido de la historia, y eso no es poca cosa. Well I'm an average musician and I am nowhere to playing even a fraction as good as these guys but I know there is nothing like a better musician... people like what they hear and thats all... petrucci and satriani and for that matter vai, eric johnson or whoever can never be compared and their works can never be compared either. All of these guys have different techniques for eg. satriani uses legato for speed while petrucci uses sheer picking speed... a lot of stuff counts for... guitar,gear..
