They pull a paramedic captain and driver from a truck company and another firefighter from another rig in the station. It still puts a truck co. out of service though.
Cause folks don't watch their mirrors. When someone in front of them suddenly pulls over the majority go around that vehicle?? They should be looking in their mirrors and pull over too. Vehicles today are made to keep sound out add a 4 speaker sound system inside and your not going to hear much.
Siren speakers are only effective at speeds less than 30 MPH. We rely on our emergency lighting systems mostly.
An electro-mechanical siren is the way to go to penetrate cars! Q2b or Super chief!

Cause they weren't equipped with a "Q." A "Q" will clear traffic or an intersection if you properly...
