As Gerald states in his "biography" he forecasts a "downsizing of America". I completely agree, but as he rants about Obama policies he should note that this downsizing is Obama's intention. Spread the wealth in a global society. American exceptionalism is not something he desires or believes in. The way to accomplish this is to run up massive debt and weaken us abroad.

The market is no longer an indicator of the economy. It is being used as one by the White House- "The market is up things are better"- but it's pure BS. The market is nothing more than a giant craps table and the slightest news sends it moving. They have to keep the market up because so many pension funds and bank money is tied into it. Celente may be off on some of his timing, but what he predicts has been happening or will happen. I wouldn't disregard this guy.

Celente is all wrong. There will be no economic crash. There won't even be a double dip. The market will be flat for a while and then there will be a very very slow and steady recovery. He also predicted that a terrorist strike will happen and the stock market will crash as a result. Wrong again, Celente. None of this stuff will happen. Celente is off his rocker lately.
