The mutiplayer on xbox is fun but waiting for it is fucking terrible.The lobbies take forever to load but i like this game,i enjoy it but not as much as some other titles but oh well its still fun.

Iv got the first one but it's got a big scratch on it so about halfway through the game my xbox complains about not being able to read it. So I might get the second one. Do you need to know what happens in the first one to understand the story of gears of war two???

i think gears of war 2 is ok but gears of war DID NOT come up with that "take cover" manuver. they copied that from the first resistance game. although the actual gameplay in confusing, i like the interesting weapons

in my opinion, besides horde (which is fun with anyone) the only fun multiplayer is too play with friends in private matches. the matchmaking system is so fucking slow! and when you do play, the teams get unbalanced and their are too many cheap moves people do! (grenades on wall and smoke grenades were a bad idea epic) and result in me and my team getting mowed down quickly. i haven't had any lag yet, but i heard the game is literally unplayable with even a little lag. still pretty good though

Does microsoft let any of their games change between sequels. I dont like gears 2 because theres almost no real big changes for the better. This game should have been a 30$ addon and saved the name "Gears 2" for when they come out with a deserving title. This game defintley doesnt suck but if your making a sequel to a title as big as the first gears it has to be just as innovative.
