Wow, this game looks absoulutly atrocious. I'm sorry for any offense to anybody here, but damn. Why do the zombies run so fast like their on steriods? How can zombies climb up ladders and pipes faster than human beings? Why is the camera so stiff, and why are the people sprinting through buildings like crazy? This looks worse than Half-Life 2.

This is a gameplay video of the first version of Left 4 Dead. Where the characters were not fully developed. So the Francis with hair was removed for the beta and full game and he was made to be the tattoo'd biker as we all know. (or just some of us).

Zombies can't run. They have some respiratory function, but mainly for breathing. The shuffle after you, they do not run. Zombies do not retain memory from the previous life. I know much more if you are interested.

Rigamortis happens after death. Zombies are not dead, they are infected. Zombies cannot bring back dead humans. There is no cure for death. The virus doesn't bring back all memory's, as I said. Meloctonopa only brings back the most basic needs for zombies. Walking, basic moaning communication, biting, attacking. As the virus evolves it will engage itself to be able to run, possibly along with other things.

depends on what type of zombies you're talking about. the typical George A. Romero zombies ARE in fact dead that have been re-animated, where as the new "modern" zombies are infected by a virus. But...even though brain function never shuts down...modern zombies would be considered medically dead...the heart stops and other bodily functions do as well. trust me...even in the new "dawn of the dead" the zombies were dead. it's on the special features.

There is no exact set of Zombie rules. Since nobody knows the origin of zombies, the rules are up for interpretation. But usually the fast zombies aren't real zombies. Just freaks mutated from a virus. Real zombies come from the grave. Those are the slow ones.

Yea it is exciting but the levels are kinda all the same not much work has gone in to it not alot a weapons same monster forget there names the fat lad and that.

If you play through all levels it will take you AT LEAST 4 hours. If you play at normal pace I'd say you'll be busy for about 6-8 hours. As for the weapons personally I think they're fine. More weapons like nadelaunchers and stuff would just kill the gameplay and atmosphere. Weapons, common infected and the 5 boss monsters always appear somewhere else. Really keeps the game exciting. And don't forget the versus mode which is also great.

I thin a rocket launcher would kill the survival horror atmosphere. You still have the pipebombs for a big boom. And there already is a hunting rifle ingame, but you don't see it often in videos. Yeah I really miss the good ol' basebal bat and stuff but you can shove with any weapon so it's a nive replacement.

Agreed, I hate how there are always noob weps like rocket launchers, RPG's and Grenade Launchers as well as over-powered flamethrowers and Light Machine Guns that usually suck but are impossible to defend against when someone prays and sprays only 2m away from you.

Look at FarCry 2, Great game but if you play ranked half of the other team has Grenade Launchers and though they usually suck as using them they're a 1 hit kill wep.
