@edviperrrr You dont sweat in the winter..so sometimes its better. But the feet always cold, I just ride untill they go numb and then cant feel them anymore.
By the way, working bike courier in russia. Last 5 years nobody not open the doors on the way. (may be today?) Slightly surprised, what that especially of canada?
I'd never ride a bike with drop bars and 700c tires in the snow. Bars need to be straight with deep tread tires that are studded. That aside -- she's HOT!
I have ride until I was completely numb, then rode some more, & unlike messengers, I did not whine about how hard it was, what a drama queen, snickers
jeans make you colder as they are made out of cotten and that sucks the heat away from your body, same with a t-shirt. Have you ever been in very cold weather?? A jacket just wont do, exspecially when your speeding with the wind and snow in your face and on your body.... you do need all that stuff. Also bike messenging requires tons of skill and bike messangers should be proud they can do it. I mean i dout lance armstrong could even be a bike messanger
@wednos You're talking out of your ass, and if you cannot handle riding in jeans and a jacket in really cold weather, then your ass does not belong on a bike, man up and stop whining like some sissy oy FFS
@ideasoner Quite the contrary for me. I'd never ride brakeless when it's dry, but on the snowy, icy streets, I find brakes to be dangerous and unnecessary (on a fixie, that is; and riding freewheeled in the winter scares me).
I ride my bike here in Brazil. It´s warm most part of the year,
so our winter goes only to 50 F or 10 C.
So, I´d like to see how people do on cold weather such in Canada or Russia.
I was in doubt if bike messengers could work full time on winter too.

@colin340 Hardly, I will let people who claim to be messengers do that, they seem pretty good at it, aww poor babies, lol

OMG, you are riding a bike, not going on a polar expedition, lol
Jeans, a t-shirt, & a heavy jacket is all you need FFS, lol
Bike Messengers are so dramatic, hyping what they do like they invented cycling, lol

Centigrade and Fahrenheit meet at -40, so -35 is going to be really close whichever scale you use.
