Peter Erskine is Master Jazz player . Gentelman and Hi Class American.Artist!!! so him Clearwater Ft J Patitucci Bass John Abencrombi Guitar Cheak this.Gentelman is Art Forms.
Looking at what he played right in the very beginning, he went lR L R rL R L lR L R rL L R lR L R rL L R. So he started with flam accents, but then switched to a right-side flam accents and left-side Swiss triplets (but switched lead hands after each Swiss triplet, which isn't the typical way to play them). He didn't stick lR L R over and over because, if he had, his flams would not have switched sides.
I didn't check what he played later on, but the sticking still looked weird.
These are not swiss army trips. He is sticking lR L R which never changes. They are flam accents without alternating the sticking or the flam to make it a true series of flam accents. If it were swiss army trips then the sticking would be lR R L or rL L R and that clearly is not the case. Maybe this guy does know what he's talking about and the Einsteins that flood youtube can get a grip on reality and step out of moms basement for a minute and play a gig or two like this guy has.

He isn't playing swiss army triplets or flam accents. It looks like he's playing flam accent inverts, if such a thing exists, in the triplet portion. If not, then they're just alternated swisses. The sixteenth-base bits are swisses.
PETER____YOU ARE NOT PLAYING A FLAM ACCENT____THAT"S A SWISS ARMY TRIPLET_____COME ON MAN<YOU ARE MY FAVORITE JAZZ DRUMMER<PLEASE KNOW WHAT YOU"RE PLAYING!!!!!!
All he is doing is a Flam Accent without alternating the rudiment. He is doing the 'right side' only. Funny too...he mistakenly says 'flam tap' at one point as well.
@KillerDrummer88 If you look closely, he's actually playing both/either.
The sticking you describe is a Swiss army triplet. (always stays on the same side and if you know anything about them it's actually a displaced double stroke roll )
Flam accents are always alternating and the triplet part is hand to hand. The only "double stroke" is where the flam is. lRLR rLRL
Doesn't really matter anyway as he's a genius on the instrument.
I think stombaught1 is right. He's doing a R-flam accent with a L-swiss triplet. The problem is that his accents are really pronounced. I guess that's the drumline in me coming out. It's a great exercise though.
Sweet three height accent to tap.
