it's kinda weird for the nurse to be wearing a santa hat.. xDDDD but this was so beautiful! thank you so much for sharing it with the world. I'm due to deliver my baby boy on May 28th. c:
Sooooo sweet!!! I loved this video. Thanks for posting. Haven't seen such a cute and brave couple out there soo relax. Wish I can go by the same way when I have my baby and my hubby right next to me:)
ur so cute with ur labor, never thot it wud be possible to have someone on delievry who is not yelling and shouting with, which is usual and normal. ;)) u must have prepared for it very well
WOW I so bawled my eyes out--my husband and I are not yet at the getting preggo stage yet but I have had baby fever for a while now- we are going to try some time this year and watching this makes me feel like I will be able to get through the birthing stage-- and you guys DID make a perfect baby boy! Congrats!!!
@TheSHORTY213 Nope!! It felt like a tiny bee sting. Nothing compares to the pain of contractions. Getting the epidural is seriously nothing, compared to those!
@kevsbabygirl08 awwww congrats I can't wait to concive hoping that day is sooner than I think. Upload videos on how you're doing. Also on what its like to be pregnant the ups and downs. Most people talk about it as no problem. I wanna know do you feel the same when you're pregnant before you got pregnant besides the kicking? I'm just so excited to become pregnant.
@ajitn001 I'm not sure! Studies show that most babies are born after midnight though! It must be because that's when mom finally gets to go to sleep and get some rest. Baby can't have that :P
@ajitn001 I'm not sure! Studies show that most babies are born after midnight though! It must be because that's when mom finally gets to go to sleep and get some rest. Baby can't have that :P
@AdvantageLanguage Haha thank you! Well, i've uploaded at least one video a week, since he was born!! So there will definitely be a 3 year update, since i don't plan to stop vlogging lol! And, he has a baby brother now :o)
Omg..I have to give it to you girl! You did soo good. I hd an epidural too, but for some reason, after the nurse told me to push a lot of times, I began feeling some pain down there and it hurted so much, but was such a relief once the baby finally came out. Lol. But I was so drugged that I didn't have the strength you had to hold your baby that long.. :) I'm glad you had an easy labor and delivery.
hi lora, I am vivian from philippines and I am 38 week pregnant now. my OB GYNE told me a a day ago (sept.6) that i was going to give birth but until still nothing happened.

@Loraandlayton No thanks, Its the truth ;) and you're a beautiful woman! I admire you. :$ How mutch children do have? 2?? :D u are a nice person ;) Greets from holland ;)
You really make labor and delivery look easy! My biggest worry is when the baby is not crying, but it looks like your boy just did not want to cry! Cute baby! Congrats!
@parkcitygab Some babies just dont want to! It's always good when they cry because you know their lungs are nice and clear. But Tripp was just super laid back lol
@piaybackjunkie17 me too but im sooooooooooo scared :s i hate hospitals, i dono wht im gona do about this XD lool its my biggest fear.. but i loveeeeeee babies...

@weareexpecting1 Ummm.. Hi?! Did the title say "natural" anywhere in it?! lol! YOUR idea of perfect isn't the only idea of perfect. Try to have a more open mind. Just because I didn't give birth in my bathtub at home, doesn't mean that my labor and delivery wasn't exactly what I wanted. "Clearly" you didn't see how I had a PERFECTLY healthy and happy baby boy and I had a wonderful experience.

Congratulations. Thank you so much for posting this. I am pregnant with my first baby and 23 and 5 months along. My baby is due in December too. Thanks for posting this as I have been planning an epidural delivery and was really scared of giving birth. I have been so scared to the point of worrying everyday. Your baby is beautiful and perfect. It showed me that birth is beautiful and does not need to be seen as scary or worrying. This really relaxed me and now I am looking forward to birth.
@LisiGreenEyes You're going to do great!! Congrats :o) I'm so glad you liked the video. BOTH my son's births were great and i had epidurals with both. People love to try and scare other moms, but there's no reason to be scared! We were made to have babies!!
That nurse did not support the baby's spine after she pulled him out. That really was horrible technique. And babies don't have to cry or be rubbed that roughly to get them to breathe. They don't have to cry to breathe. Do you?
@twinstar9 Well.. he's now a happy and healthy 2.5 year old, so those 3 seconds didn't affect him too much lol! And yea, most people like to hear their baby cry right when they're born, to make sure they're lungs are clear and they can breathe.
@twinstar9 Actually when a newborn cries immediatly after birth it's a good indication that their foreman ovale has closed and the lungs are working. Unborn babies do not use their lungs in the womb, the foreman ovale allows blood to skip the lungs and travel directly from the right to left atrium. When a baby is born, this closes (if not, blue baby syndrom and PFO) allowing the lungs to perform. It's a good thing to hear a baby cry, nurses/doctors look for that.
Sorry. Aww, that's awesome! Sorry to hear you overgained, so did my mom! I heard that trying to eat well and walk helps a woman not gain so much during pregnancy, but I don't know! Thanks for your replies!
Sorry for all the questions but ppl keep saying u can nvr get back to your pre pregnancy body/weight. Is this true? Did you work out or did the pounds just come off? Sorry for sounding ignorant!
@idealist22 Well, I over-gained. I gained almost 50lbs. So it was a little tougher for me to lose the weight. The first 25 lbs came off pretty quickly, but I had to work really hard to lose the rest. It was even harder after my second son was born, but I did lose it all! I just work out and eat right.
This is an amazing video. I have a couple questions, was it hard on the first night home and did you ever feel like you didn't give one of your kids enough attention.
@taloa1550 It's definitely an adjustment, going from one to Two. I had moments where I felt guilty, but I think that's only normal. It took a little while to adjust, but we got the hang of it and everything was great!!
@idealist22 It varries, depending on the woman. Usually takes about 15 minutes. I didn't need an epidiotomy and I only tore a tiny bit. Didn't need stitches.
@idealist22 Well, yea lol! You push an entire human being out of your vag haha! It's gonna open up wide. But don't worry about it affecting your sex life. You can't have sex for the first 4-6 weeks after having a baby anyways. By the time you can have sex again, your vajayjay will be back to normal! And a lot of the time, tighter than it was before. That happened to me.
@sweetgirl0227 I'm going to be 13 in a week. I agree with your comment. we have a lot of time to decide so don't worry about it right now. I don't want to deal with the pain either but I bet to have your baby in your arms, it's all worth it.
I wanna have a baby, but I don't want to deal with the pain! So I'm debating wether or not I should adopt. Is it wrong I'm thinking about this when I'm twelve years old?
it's kinda weird for the nurse to be wearing a santa hat.. xDDDD but this was so beautiful! thank you so much for sharing it with the world. I'm due to deliver my baby boy on May 28th. c:

@twinstar9 Well.. he's now a happy and healthy 2.5 year old, so those 3 seconds didn't affect him too much lol! And yea, most people like to hear their baby cry right when they're born, to make sure they're lungs are clear and they can breathe.
Loraandlayton 6 months ago

Sorry for sounding ignorant!
idealist22 6 months ago
@idealist22 Well, I over-gained. I gained almost 50lbs. So it was a little tougher for me to lose the weight. The first 25 lbs came off pretty quickly, but I had to work really hard to lose the rest. It was even harder after my second son was born, but I did lose it all! I just work out and eat right.

That's awesome! What takes about fifteen minutes? Also, do you work or stay at home? If so, do you leave the kids at day care? Thanks!
idealist22 6 months ago
@idealist22 No, they aren't in day care. I'm a stay at home mom. For all of our videos, you can go to our main channel to see what our days are like!

This is an amazing video. I have a couple questions, was it hard on the first night home and did you ever feel like you didn't give one of your kids enough attention.
taloa1550 6 months ago
@taloa1550 It's definitely an adjustment, going from one to Two. I had moments where I felt guilty, but I think that's only normal. It took a little while to adjust, but we got the hang of it and everything was great!!

Does it take long to heal like a c section? Did uver need an episiotomy, or tear and need to be sewn up? Im so scared of this stuff..
idealist22 6 months ago
@idealist22 It varries, depending on the woman. Usually takes about 15 minutes. I didn't need an epidiotomy and I only tore a tiny bit. Didn't need stitches.

,aybe this is awkward to ask but are you really stretched out afterwards? I worry that having a baby will kill my sex life..
idealist22 6 months ago
@idealist22 Well, yea lol! You push an entire human being out of your vag haha! It's gonna open up wide. But don't worry about it affecting your sex life. You can't have sex for the first 4-6 weeks after having a baby anyways. By the time you can have sex again, your vajayjay will be back to normal! And a lot of the time, tighter than it was before. That happened to me.
Loraandlayton 6 months ago
@sweetgirl0227 I'm going to be 13 in a week. I agree with your comment. we have a lot of time to decide so don't worry about it right now. I don't want to deal with the pain either but I bet to have your baby in your arms, it's all worth it.

I wanna have a baby, but I don't want to deal with the pain! So I'm debating wether or not I should adopt. Is it wrong I'm thinking about this when I'm twelve years old?
