I think I lived here this summer, I ride a Scott Genius and it is at home on these trails. I wish there where more like this in the ROW (Region of Waterloo). C'mon Spring I am dying to get out and ride. This year I think I am gonna add a 29r to the Scott. Great vid man, I love it.
ah yeah, the brain shock on those sounds quite fun.
I currently have a '99 Schwinn hardtail that I bought new. I've replaced everything but the frame over the years. It currently needs a whole new drivetrain, F and R deraillieurs, rear hub and bb/crankset among other small things. I don't want to spend a lot of money on fixing it. I am planning on cheaply converting it to a SS after I buy an '06+ used bike over the winter. I saw an 09 Giant Trance that I think would be really good to build up.
watching your videos really makes me anxious to get a bike again and hit these trails up for the first time, I just moved to the area two years ago and my bikes been out of commission since the season prior to my move!
@mcyuke I'm riding a Specialized Epic Comp, which is a great bike for cross country. It only has 3 inches of travel at the front and back, and the back actually locks out on the flats and climbs. I've seen people riding everything at Hydrocut, from full suspension to single speed hard tails. As long as you don't have a bike from Canadian Tire you should be ok :)
