Also, if a player invades your game but loses the fight, then I think he or she is penalized in some way, so I'm not sure if too many people are willing to take the risk.

This is an excellent game, but extremely tough! If you have the patience, though, it's very rewarding.

@TheLonesomeFoghorn No, and I'm not sure if I ever will! lol...I actually decided to go back to Demon's Souls and play more of that after it had been sitting on my shelf for so long. The online aspect is pretty interesting, though. Other players show up as ghostly images, and you can read helpful messages that they've left behind. Also, if they've died, a bloodstain is shown that allows you to see how they died, which can sometimes be helpful.

@TheLonesomeFoghorn It definitely has some scary moments. I think most of the fear (at least for me) comes from knowing that any enemy character in the game has the possibility of killing you instantly, which adds some tension that you don't find in a lot of games these days.

@TheLonesomeFoghorn Players can invade your game if they're going for a quick way to gain their humanity back, but from what I've heard, this rarely happens. You have to use a specific item to do this. You can also use a certain item to summon another player to help you out, if you'rer in a tough spot. For the most part, I've only encountered other players in their ghost form running around, which doesn't affect your game at all.
