Brilliant live version, Second coming as an album does not get the credit its due i think. It was always gonna be hard to follow on from The Stones Roses especially after their lengthy recording lay off due to their well publicised fallout with Silvertone.

But Second Coming is definitely in my top 10 albums.

One of the better live versions. Maddix is tighter. He's an unremitting, funky mother but the whole thing loses top marks because there's no Swing to the tune. Reni made those skins dance, man. Valiant attempt though.

Too true mate, Maddix is amazing to listen to but dominates the entire time - the 4 bar drum break is not a patch on Reni's studio version for style and taste
