According to a recent interview with Krayzie, the lead up to BTNH Resurrection was hell. There was a lot of in-fighting going on at the time and Krayzie was pissed because promo and work on his solo album, Thug Mentality 1999, was cut short. Most of the songs were recorded without Krayzie too, they had him come in later and do a couple "filler" verses to finish up the project.
