Thank you again for the reply, you should write a exercise book, in your video you explain the hindu push-up great, If you ever write an exercise book, I will buy a copy, take care.
Thank you for the reply, yogikanna, one more question, how many days per week do you do your workout, and how many sets and reps? thank you again for the great video.
@mrgoaliedean Hi, sorry for the delay in replying, have been busy writing a book. I workout 3-4 times a week. Basically alternate days. I do 15 reps of hindu pushups, 30 reps of hindu squats followed by 15 reps of regular pushups. I have 1 minute rest between each exercise. Sometimes I vary everything by 5 reps or so. As you can see, I don't work out for very long, just 10-15 minutes, once in 2 days. It's great for your overall body, arms, legs and abs. Good luck!
Thank you for the reply, yogikanna, i HAVE ONE MORE QUESTION, HOW MANY DAY PER WEEK AND HOW MANT SETS AND REPS DO YOU DO? THANKS AGAIN FOR THE GREAT VIDEO, TAKE CARE.
Thank you for the reply, Is there a certain number of reps or sets that you do on each exercise and do you do them everyday? thank you again for your replys, take care.
@professor0007 do as many as you feel comfortable. If you can do 10-15 comfortably, do so. If not, whatever feels comfortable according to your current strength. Good luck!
@mrgoaliedean Thank you! I just do hindu pushups, hindu squats and regular pushups, thats pretty much it. Sometime I do jumprope and I also enjoy walking in the park or beach. Other than that I don't do much physical workout. More into yogic breathing, meditation and sun gazing these days. Yes, I will try to post the hindu squat video sometime soon. Cheers!
@yogikanna Good stuff. Breathing properly can help improve your strength, breathing improperly will make you tired faster and hinder recovery. I need to breathe better.
@Seuneglacise that's another exercise called the "divebomber" pushup. Divebomber pushups work the chest and triceps more, but they don't work the shoulder as much as the hindu pushup.
This, along with the Hindu squat, is one of the finest exercises I have ever tried. It has helped me to manage a rotator cuff injury and strengthen my mid-torso more than any ammount of sit-ups. Good video.
Squats would balance the lower body pushing strength. The upper body can also pull so to balance that I would do chins or something. The lower body is odd to pull with so leg raises standing or on a bar would have to do if you lack gravity boots or strong toes which can grip a rafter.
