As much as I would have liked to finally see a woman as president in the U.S. (and Hillary would have been a perfect choice to pave the way for women), you just know that anything that might have gone wrong during her presidency would have been blamed on the fact that she is a woman. People can be incredibly small-minded and I don't think the U.S. is ready for a woman president. Black men won the right to vote 55 years before women in the U.S., so maybe by 2063 we'll be ready for a woman pres.

@vanillapop21 erm, black people may have had the "right" to vote as early as after the Civil War but they didnt REALLY get it until the Civil Rights Act of 1964. Women didnt face nearly as much obstacles as blacks when it came to voting.
