  • good job mate

  • I find the clinch knot pretty strong with 20- 40lb leader line.

People say it is weak but only time it has released on me is on 6lb.

  • Man, i thought i made that up, iv been using that for years, it works great

  • would watch your show if u were on t v dude your cool great tecniquse

  • For as long as I've been a fisherman, which is 10+ years, this has always been the one and only knot I've ever used. It's also the only knot that I've ever been taught to use. But I think I'm gonna start snelling.

  • Right before i pull the long end i like lol this will sound wierd but i like to spit on it to make it tie better

  • after you warp the line are you passing the tag end through the part you pinched thats wrapped around the swivel?

  • thank you for the upload

  • hey dud your good

  • this is the nott I was tought to use when I first started fishing as a little kid by my dad. great video

  • thats how we do it in europe too :)

  • Nice! I use the wrapping the line around 7 times thing but was unaware of putting it back through. Thanks I will try again!

  • dude you should put some more actual fishing videos i would love to see them i dont really care if its a 1 pounder or a 50 pounder you catch i just hope you put more videos on im gonna suscribe doh love your vids.

  • You are definitely not an average fisherman...thank you for sharing...Excellent ideas...!

  • Ill do you one better.

In the begining thread your line through 2 times instead of one. when you do one your weakening the line and your losing pounds but when you gain go through again you gain pounds.

  • Why do you use a liter and barrel swivel?

  • the barrel swivel is for tying the leader to your main line

  • nice, i use that same exact know when i go for cat fish, or the Palomar knot. i dont knw how to spell palomar.lol

  • i use 13 just the way i first learned works great but no i might just use your snelling guide

  • that knot is easy

i use it all the time

  • do you do the last step?

i used to use this knot, but without the last step, and it would hold, but not near as good

  • sometimes

  • always loop back through the last time.. it will slip other wise

  • ok

    i will

  • Yep. When I was teaching my sons this knot they asked "What's it matter that it's 6 times?" and I said "Not sure that it does but 6 is my lucky number!"

  • nice! i usually do about 8 but u were using alot heavier line than i use! its harder to do with heavy line i think!

  • 6 is my lucky #, but yeah the more wraps the harder to set the knott

  • yea!

  • great how to video

  • thanks

  • good job! i guess you should have made this vid a week ago, and we would have seen a fiddy lber fri nite lol

  • ha ha... yeah

  • wish i new that before thank average fisherman
