So true. People fear nonconformity. When they take the stairs, they expect to see you take the stairs, not run up the wall next to the stairs, vault over it, and arrive on the other side 30 seconds before the person walking on the stairs does. I believe that parkour has always existed, and we humans used to do it naturally, too. But that was before we created religon, clothes, and censorship. When I do parkour, I am the monkey, swinging through the urban jungle and over society's isolation wall.

@CrazyRican158 From the past to now the parkour thing has changed alot, i am surprised how much people like the ones in this video have advanced. But i agree that jumping a frontflip from 2metres height isnt a good example for how parkour can be a metaphore for life. For me its more like professional sports, money and miles away from average people, more like idols.

And on top let the "opposition of societies masses" speak, dont be so afraid of negativity, it allows change.

You yourself said Parkour has changed so much, look at the reality and stop trying to fight it, flips are a form of expression, just because people prefer point A-B efficiency over flips just means that is what parkour is to them, putting limitations within a definition only henders the positive message.. As you can see on the comments here below and in forums around the world, we have been facing some obvious opposition to the show. If this was their first encounter with it and we simply called it just freerunning, because we are integrating flips and off axis moves that are freerunning...The introduction of Parkour would be lost completely. At least we can grab attention, and cause them to question what parkour is from here.
